Cairns & Far North QLD Attractions

From indulgent shopping and dining to outdoors adventures, you’ll find the holiday experience you’ve been daydreaming of in vibrant and tropical Cairns.

Here’s just a small selection of the things to see and do close to our accommodation:

Shopping and Dining

Whether you’re looking for a quick takeaway snack or a romantic meal for two at a sophisticated eatery overlooking the water, the international cafes, restaurants and bistros of Cairns Esplanade are sure to satisfy your food cravings.

If it’s great shopping you’re after, you will find plenty of stores and boutiques to explore within a 2km walk of our holiday apartments.

Beaches and Natural Attractions

Cairns is considered the ‘gateway’ to the magnificent Great Barrier Reef, and you’ll find a great range of tours available locally to help you explore this natural masterpiece by glass bottom boat, scuba dive or snorkel expedition. For those that prefer to keep their feet on dry land, the spectacular Daintree and Kuranda Rainforests offer a world of fun and exploration, not far from our Cairns holiday accommodation.

Family Attractions

Within a short distance of the resort you can take a cooling dip in Cairns lagoon, explore the lush parklands that line the waterfront or enjoy a family picnic on one of the gorgeous local beaches. All these are in easy reach by car or public transport. Travelling just a bit further afield, the kids are sure to be enchanted by the rare and colourful butterflies at the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary at Kuranda, while Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures offers a unique chance to get up close to crocs on an unforgettable mangrove cruise.

Sporting Facilities

We are very lucky to be a short 800m walk to the Cairns Tennis Centre & Hockey Fields. So if you are planning your next team booking please consider Tropic Towers Holiday Apartments.
