The Bamboos continue to reinvent Australian Soul music and solidify their place as purveyors of musical evolution.
Founded in Melbourne in 2000 by Lance Ferguson, The Bamboos have been honoured with five ARIA Awards and three APRA Music Awards nominations over their seven studio albums. They are one of the best Australian bands to date.
The band has had a string of notable collaborations with artists including Aloe Blacc, Megan Washington, Daniel Merriweather and Alice Russell. They have one of the country’s best vocalists, Kylie Auldist. The Bamboos have played to some of the best festivals including Splendour in the Grass, Meredith, Bluesfest, WOMADelaide, Falls Festival, and Homebake. They are heading to Tanks Arts Centre to give their fans their distinct sound.
